UN149 Housing – 1:49 Unun for EFHW Antennas

The UN149 is a 1:49 Unun designed for the construction of high-performance and versatile End-Fed Half Wave (EFHW) antennas. It allows the design of half-wave antennas that can be used, by harmonics, across all HF amateur radio bands, and ensures wideband reception from 100 kHz to 200 MHz with a single insulated wire.

For example, using a half-wave wire for 80 m combined with a tuner box provides easy access to most HF bands.

The housing is made of a robust 50 mm diameter aluminum body, ensuring durability and optimal protection.

The SO-239 chassis connector with Teflon (PTFE) insulation and gold-plated core ensures high-quality contact.

The thumbscrew located on the top allows for antenna wire connection.
